The British Independent Film Awards considers every eligible film for nomination. With the help of British-based film festivals and by tracking the release schedules, our researchers set out to find everything that qualifies. To assist us, you can submit your film for consideration directly.

The submission deadline for films is September 22nd 2008.

Please read the rules of entry before submitting a film to BIFA.

• Use our online submission form (NB. you must also send six VHS screening cassettes or DVDs to BIFA in order to complete your entry.)
• Download a printable PDF of our submission form which you can complete by hand and send with your screening cassettes. You must have the Adobe Acrobat Reader Plugin installed and a working printer to use this method.
